どんな風に日本が見られているか?

Japan is a hard place to live. Should I really give up on it?
I don’t think that Japan is a hard place to live. It’s a moderately nice place to live.

The economy might be sluggish, but it’s more or less functioning. The food is more or less safe. The streets are safe. The transportation is efficient and abundant. There’s no war and no threat of war. The society is more or less loyal to anything as long as it’s not breaking the status quo.

There are many social issues like deep-rooted sexism, stagnant political scene, a certain amount of xenophobia, poverty and economic uncertainty. But then, they aren’t unique to Japan.

It’s not a fantasy land with pink-haired schoolgirls and Pokemon flying in the air. It’s a developed Asian country with its positive and negative sides.
